Here and there I would love to use a custom smiley, but I can't link to it  So I would like to get them back, although I'm not sure if it would be wise to do so. But he, if you don't try, you'll never know

Tokkolo, I feel your pain as I really like to use them as well. It's unfortunate that we're hostages because of one or two people. 
 Maybe Intelliot would consider providing a more robust selection for us to incorporate into our posts, that way the threat is gone. What do you all think?

I think that might actually work. If you create a usergroup that is allowed to use the img tag than intelliot has ful control over who can use it and who not. So when somebody desided to misuse it that person will loose the right to use the img tag. And the other members can still enjoy it.
All you to do for that is create a new usergroup and deside on the conditions to enter that usergroup. For example, a certain amount of usefull posts and a certain time that person is a member here.
Let me add right away that this is something you absolutely _don't_ want to put in the shop.
