UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Tuesday, February 1, 2005

Quote:
Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted he would have no worries about throwing Ruud van Nistelrooy straight into Manchester United's Champions League clash with AC Milan. The striker is at home in Holland recovering from the Achilles injury that has ruled him out since the end of November. Ferguson has insisted the 28-year-old's recuperation is going well and has earmarked Milan's Old Trafford visit on February 23 as a possible return date.

Not anyone?! You don't care if his achilles gets better or not? Who is your team and I'll round up something interesting to post for us to debate and enjoy.

Man U are simply the best.
How about Ruud's goals yesterday, simply worldclass.
I can't wait till the FA Cup Final, as we will kick their arse like only we know how.

Manchester United is certainly England's finest, most respected team. It is undeniably the best one as well, but some may say they are over-rated. I have been an avid supporter of Manchester United since the early 90s.
Oh, and Brazil will win FIFA 2006, no doubt.

Brazil is supposed to win it every year, anything else is mediocrity. Argentina surprised many people, Portugal as well. I think the African countries will will surprise a few people.

My favorite player ever is Franz Beckenbauer. I'm older than dirt.

I hope France is eliminated and disqualified early on next year, those good-for-nothing racist scumbag bigots.
Don't know much about the situation in Africa in the case of preparation for the world cup. Uruguay hasn't won a world cup in a long time. The final match of the first ever FIFA tournament was held in their country and they were the first champions of the FIFA World Cup tournament.
Ehh...we are shying away from the original topic of this thread, which was about the health of Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Have you guys taken a look at England lately? They have the best defense and an awesome Midfield. I think they have much better chances of winning the World Cup than they have been given credit for. I hope they beat the Krauts in the final. That would be awesome, concidering we beat their arse in 1966 at home. It would be sweet to beat them on their own turf.

Go England, Go Man. United
