Based on the Drake Equation, Moore's Law, and the Allen Telescope, a new prediction has been made that Earth will make first contact with aliens within 20 years. Of course once we find the first aliens there's the question of can we decode their signals, would they spot our reply, and what's the lag time.

I don't consider anything as a "god".
I believe we route from Quantum. Because the rules of this universe and all that we know don't necissarily apply. So here, all cells have to route from other cells: that doesn't apply there.
And we know that objects can be teleported via Quantum, because they have been, and that means that these cells could have come to this existence of ours via Quantum.
PS, I suggest reading Timeline by Michael Crichton: crappy movie, very excellent and very interesting book.

I reckon that there probably is like another load of us lot basically just kicking around somewhere. No better no worse, just all messing about like we are basically. I think it would be nice if it turned out they were like gods and stuff so we could learn from them. But I'm skeptical because I've watched Stargate far too many times  |
