opinions? I've tried spotlight once.. when i installed tiger.. it was blazing fast! even at a beta... how's google desktop? I have'nt tried it really.. just installed it once.. when it first came out.. I know google desktop was worked on after the announce of spotlight in tiger..

What is google spotlight? is it like a search or somthing like that?

After trying out various Desktop Search tool ulmatically I am convinced that Google Desktop is a better one.

Recently I downloaded final realese of MSN desktop search and tried it extensively and founf it good in many ways ( e.g it tell the location of the emails & files) but it interferece with windows working so much that Quick here many time it take as a spyware and delete many file .

Little bit perferction is required in Google desktop search but is the simples, fast and smarter.It sits quitely at the corner without any work or windows working interference
