for now
longhorn is still in a very early stage.
the version you get, it's still beta.
although they have some later build internally, they won't release it until windows xp sp2 is out.
i am so thrilled with all the new graphics, the new graphical engine, (avalon)
support 3d windows and transparency.
should work really great with 64 bit computer
winfs and indigo are great ideas also.
but don't think my current computer can support longhorn when it comes out. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed
gotta buy new computer, hahahaah

Goodness, people just don't see how behind windows is compared to MacOS. "New" graphical engine: Quartz Extreme in OS X, out since 2001. And native 64-bit? *hint hint* Tiger, will be out in first half of 2005. I just don't see how Windows is the best OS when all they have been trying to do was to catch up to MacOS since the early 1990s. (yes believe it or not, compare Windows 3.1 to the old MacOS)

No, Windows sucks. It's the hardware that rocks - thanks AMD!
