I use ZoneAlarm suite 5.5.94.0 and yesterday I tried to install GDS. To my surprise during installation ZoneAlarm monitor service was interrupted and when I restarted it GDS stopped indexing my files?

Any idea how to avoid this?

You need to add GDS to Zone Alarms safe list:
