All of today (so far) I have had major problems trying to connect to Orkut. Is anyone else having problems?
It seems like the traffic is already getting to be more than the current servers can handle. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I was on it today,no probs but well.......... the communities load a little slow! |

It's been slowing down at times for a while. Guess they didn't quite anticipate the traffic. It seems to run on Microsoft ASP, too. 
(Not sure why they didn't opt for something better, like Linux and an open source scripting language.) |

| Same thing, I couldn't access Orkut a couple of times a few weeks ago, but I could manage to get in a hour or so later... I don't think it will be a major problem... =) |

I just became a member and have trouble with the communities. I join the community and come back maybe an hour later and magically I'm not a member to any communty. I rejoin at one and magically i'm a member at all of the ones I signed up for before. CRAZY! Oh and it's extremely slow for me... weird

The connection speed is way very very slow  Its unacceptable for such a great site. Maybe because of large number of people connect to orkut ? |

Are we not supposed to tell the orkut people this so they can fix it?Is that not the point of the 'beta' phase?To smooth out the kiknks?

Looks very cool - but super slow for me too. Also timing out.
Gr8 idea if they give it some horsepower(or get it off the microsoft platform=slow)

| i hate orkut's servers. they always seem to go down or log me out so i have to spend 5 min fighting with it so i can look at other people's profiles and communities. i dont even go there often anymore because im starting to get sick of it. i hate how by default you get a message everytime someone replies to a topic. i had like 80 messages a day until i figured out how to turn that thing off. |

| Orkut isn't nearly as cool as people make it out to be. I get these damn server errors all the f---ing time. Gets on my nerves. I can't ever stay logged in for more than 10 min. at a time. Seriously work needs done to the servers. |
