| Quote: | | Technically speaking, Meetro is radius and proximity based software. Untechnically speaking, it finds like-minded people around you instantly. Wherever you are. So whether you’re in-town or out of town, Meetro gets you on the town with old friends or new acquaintances. |

I tried it out, and it's pretty awesome. _________________ Google Search blog |

|
|
|
To help you on adding your location data to be used with meetro ( for now ) :
check some site like http://www.maporama.com to search for your adress ( residence or work or whatever place you stay ).
In the left bottom corner of the site which will show the map of the given adress, you will find the Latitude / Longtitude ( decimal ) data, which has to be put into the named fields of the meetro "Add Location Info" window.
Please make sure you have entered the right data to the right field, and for best use, make sure its 4 digits behind the dot ( for example : 9.9000 / 53.5500).
Then click SUBMIT. Now it will tell you that it didnt recognize your given adress. Take a breath.
Now click CANCEL. I know its pretty unusual, but clicking CANCEL will mean OK by now.
The data you entered is being accepted as your local info now.
If there is anyone around you, having the same problems like you had, just let her or him know how to handle the situation. Then meet with him or her and let me know how it turned out. Pictures welcome ;D
I am not with the meetro HQ, this is just a user-to-user advice, which already helped lots of people wh also admire meetro the same way I do. We are sure this will be fixed soon, but until then, it works like its said above.
If not, please let me know ;D |
