I'm in the US - Anchorage, AK and I'm all of a sudden getting redirected to google.co.jp.
My IP address is 216.67.8.XXX
Could google have their country IP mappings wrong? |

Have you tryed Google Preferences?

Because Google thinks you're in Japan. Now if you click the link where it says go to Google.com then it'll put a cookie on your system and will remember it and you go to Google.com from then on until the cookie gets cleared.

Well, if you use a proxy service like, hidemyip, it sends you to the ip of the proxy.
SO..... if you use japan proxy, you get the japanese version. |
