I think the Google Talk is very simple, and I think simple is good....
haven't really try it yet, hope will be as good as the MSN. |

I've just tested it with a few friends...
It's got a very nice audio quality...equivalent to the one i already use on MSN.
My point of view is that it is a little too simple, in its interface, functionnalities...but hey...it's Beta software !
Test context :
Multiples users in the SAME country
Internet Link : Cable : 10M Downstream / 1M Upstream
WinXP Pro / 1Gb Ram |

Well, they just released this client. I don't think a new one with a million new features is going to come out in a few weeks.

GTalk is awesome! especially as a beta! the gui is as good as gmail's simplicity and speed and ease of use was for webmail. for once tho, Google's trademark simple functionality makes GTalk lack quite some essentials.
one thing GTalk will really need in future updates in order to strongly complete msn and aol tho is group chat. |

oh yeah, the voice quality is truly impressive. better than using primus's expensive voip service - both on calls across the pacific, if that affects anything. although primus was used to call phone to phone.
