I am wandering about the security about this service, It uses a local ip (localhost or 127.0.0.1) It it transmitting on any other IP's? How easy it is exacially for hackers to get into this? I know that firewalls block this anyway but those people who dont use XP (like use a glitchey OS like Windows ME) and are not using a firewall, How easy is it for any Snoops to get into your Index File or even into the actual page?

For anything with a listening port without a firewall and it doesn't even have to be just an old Windows system, it can even be an XP system. ANYONE will be able to access it. This is why a router is nice and a Firewall is always needed. But hey, if you didn't have a firewall and are using Windows, then you would have Sasser most likly. (Most likly if you don't have a firewall you also don't use Windows Update).

Fair enough - Thanks for answering my question! Only stupid people will make that port open anyway... Unless if it was a server and anybody on the network was needing to go to that page...
