Good one. It is a combination of google accounts and
google is indirectly making everyone to make this page as their home page. No doubt microsoft should worry. |

| the problem I see with the new google personalized is that once I click on 'google classic' to go to google's main page then there's no link to switch back to 'MyGoogle' (google personalized), unless I hit the back button, it sux. other than that, I like it and made it my home page already. |

they should do more with it
can we fix layout and stuff?
but then its simplicity is so google like
it's cool
the gmail preview would be nice if we oculd also preview the text, like notifier does
and what about colors and cool google pictures and stuff? like the stuff that makes us love google so incredibly much ... wit !!! |

If you are logged into your gmail or other google account like My Groups. Then when you visit just www.google.com you will see:
youremail@gmail.com | Personalized Home | Search History | My Account | Sign out
menu bar in the upper right corner. And so you can switch instantly back and forth between these views. But if you are not logged in, then when you visit the google.com page, you will see a login menu in the upper right corner and no link to the personalized page. _________________ ~Xenon2000 |

ya , itz cool but I face one problem that when u search then the search results are on the same page
and then you lose your settings and have to go back for your own page.It would have been nice if the serach results open on another page or within a frame on the same page. _________________ right rookie

Does anyone know how often Google Personalized Home checks RSS feeds? It seems to be every several minutes. And just now a post from my own blog appeared several minutes after I posted it and then disappeared when I refreshed the page! It came back, but that is a little wacky. I feel like I can only depend on a non-web-based RSS reader like the Opera browser, though even Opera has lost all my settings and RSS links once so far.
Otherwise, Google Personalized Home is my start page of choice. It beats MyYahoo because it has no ads and is simpler and more flexible. And unlike my custom Google News page, it is linked to my Google account. I never was able to view my customized news page anywhere but at home with the link it provides for sharing. |
