I don't think there are really any people that would purchase Gmail any more. All the good names are taken. Also, hundreds, if not thousands, of account owners have gotten 50 new invites in their Gmails.

Invites are usless already. There are so many ppl with gmail and even more invites around that everyone who wants gmail has it or knows someone who does and if they dont have it but want it a quick search on google reveals many sites where you can get them!

Gmail even has 100 invites now per account, and they update once you use about 10.
Isnoop.com is no longer allowed to do the gmail invite thing, so a lot of invites went to waste on that

Why shall GMail invites become useless from the 1st of April? Is Google making GMail open to the public (without an invitaion or anything, that is)?
