Also, has anyone seen any of the movies? I JUST saw the first one and the third (skipped the second, lol) and the kids are MUCH more grown up... This got me thinking, by the time the last book comes out, and a movie is made, won't the kids be like...... 20? LOL... That wouldn't really work well with the story... I wonder what they would do? New cast? That wouldn't really be right either...
I guess J.K. Rowling will have to speed it up a bit...
Is there any news on when the next book is coming out? I remember the Order of the Phoenix came out last summer... Almost exactly a year ago... Any news on this one? |

I don't know when Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is due to be released, but the 4th movie is be released in November 2005.
Yeah, it will be funny to see Dan [20yo] play a 15 or so kid Harry... |

I've seen the three movies, and that's right: the kids are growing... But, as you can see in the third one, some things are seen from the point of view of adolescence.
But if they don't hurry up, I'm afraid they'll have to look for new kids. |

| Harry Potter rocks. But who could the Half Blood Prince be? Hadn't heard of that title before this (must not be a very good fan, huh?). Now I'll be thinking about that for the next year. Nooooo! |

i like Harry Potter, but im not obsessed with it, I love the movies, and will watch them all, and have them all on dvd, but its not like a rant and rave over them, but it is pretty cool stuff. _________________ http://www.thrillnerdshosting.com - Your Start to the Internet |

I used to really like Harry Potter but the last book'The order of the Phoenix' wasn't very good, I couldn't finish it. It's a bit sad because I used to read the other ones over and over again. _________________ MS Discussion |

I read somewhere a while ago that for the fourth movie, Daniel wouldn't play Harry because he wants to finish school first. Just read it somewhere, might not be true. I think it would be bad if the main character's actor changes because I just hate it when that happens in movies like the Home Alone series. 1 and 2 were really good but then 3 and 4 didn't have good actors so I was upset at that.

Yeah but think about it. Older people are always playing younger ones. Matt Broderick as Feris Bueller anyone? _________________

That might be possible. Isn't HP#4 going to be like split into two movies because of the length of the book? It said that on Yahoo Movies. And besides, I don't think anyone would want to sit in the theater for like 3 hours [like in LOTR] watching Harry go through all those events. _________________ Anything in parenthesis can (not) be ignored. |
