only problem with building your own is all the components MUST be compatiable, and try not to bend the crappily small mainboard pins like i did on my server
The more I think about it the more sure I am that I'm going to it myself. It's not so clear that it's going to be cheaper, because the more research I do, the more I want to get GOOD components. When you have complete control over everything, then you want everything to be PERFECT. So it may be more expensive than what I would have gotten off the shelf. But I'm quite sure that doing it myself is going to be a LOT MORE FUN!!
i buy my computer already made because it come out cheaper because u get alot mour. i have check in to buying the part and puting it togehter my self. in the store u can get the computer with moniter keyboard printer dvd wrighter and 1 gb ddr. and it is 64 bit. it might come out cheaper if u already have all that stuff and your powersuppy and video card sound card and the rest off the computer has good part then u can just update the mouther board and chip whitch cost like 150 bux. that is the way to guy.also amd is alot cheaper then penitum idk why penitum does not even have a 64 bit computer out yet.
