Next question - why is the US always held in more respect than the UK? I don't like it. Personally, I think the UK is better.

I don't what you're basing this on. From what I've seen in countries around the world, more people hate America than even have an opinion about the UK.
Nobody likes a Superpower. Unless you're getting invaded, and need one to drop by.

| Yeah, maybe, but the US>UK hands down, that was too easy a question. If the UK was truly better, people from all around the world wouldn't have flocked to North America since its discovery. Everyone hates the US. So what? The US is the second best country in the world after Canada. |

To mondine - I based that question on what I knew. That's how it is in India. More people like the US (  ). And I hate that. I don't like the US because of it's tendency to stir up a war. Do you have any idea why the World Trade Centre was attacked?
To Eric - In my opinion, the UK is way better than the US. Maybe you should read what I've written for mondine. And about Canada, I can't say much. I've never been there, and you know a lot more about it then I do.

| Yeah, maybe the US IS run by war-mongering morons, but you can't judge a country by its government. It may not be the best country in the world overall, but it is one of the best places to live in. But to each his own, I respect your opinion. I'm sure some people hate Canada too, especially Americans, but it doesn't really matter. If you emigrate from India to the US, I'm sure you'll gradually come to love the US. |

Emigrate from India to the US? I'll never ever think of that. Though I might think of emigrating from India to the UK. In my opinion, it's way better than the US. And yeah, I don't hate Canada. I'm saying it even though you never asked me (in your last post).

Wow this topic went on for much longer than I thought 
We've been going off topic but it's more interesting so never mind that.
I like America as a country. But now it's hated by terrorists and therefore realy dangerous, and the storms are getting worse and worse. |
