i recently reinstalled google desktop, and i'm pretty sure i told it to save the index in case i reinstall it.

when i check my index status, i see that all my chats are still there 4,000+. but when i search for a particular screen name, i cannot find it. and when i try key words from previous chats, nothing comes up either. anyone know how to fix this?

also, where does google cache the chats? can i pull them up in a folder somewhere?
