Like a lot of programs. There's a free version, and a paid one. I used the free one for years, and found it quite good.
I only changed (to free version of Sygate) because it didn't play well with my router. Now, I rarely use one.

| i wouls say for extra security buy one and then its definetly legal and you probally get more pretection. I recomend Norton. |

Norton's, I shun you. Everyone I know who uses Norton's Firewall Suite is easy to hack into, their better off with no firewall at all.
Even worst is Norton's AV, when you get a virus, a pop up appears but the only ?opsion? is to press OK, which still leaves the virus sitting on your hard drive eatting away at your hardware. |

It is better when company make programs of one sort I meam that I would never use antivirus made by Agnitum... I think it is better to be a lider in one way than to be naot good in two...

Symantic purchased Sygate, so I don't know what will happen in the future. Hopefully, the quality will not take a dive.
