Have you ever read Russian books? Fantasy, fantastic, classics e.t. I live in Russia so read lot of russian authors, but we studied not native authors too. I like Balmont and Poe, but for me Erich Maria Remark(Sorry, don't know how to write his name) is the best!!!
About russian fantastic I can advice you to read Lukyanenko or Perumov some of their books are very interesting. Read may be you like it=) _________________

Anna Karenina (Love Story)

Another favourite is, of course, the great Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
Author of such classics as Crime and Punishment, Notes from the Underground, The Idiot, and The Brothers Karamazov. _________________

I've read War and Peace. It didn't find it particularly exicting, partly because the names were so long and unconventional; they just seemed so boring, so I eventually just started ignoring the names, and then the book went downhill from there _________________ Football Rumours | Gloog |

| Well, I read "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov, but most people who haven't read it will brand it a paedosexual book, but I think it is a beautiful piece of literature. I guess it is all about cultural acceptance on the themes presented in the novel, because it wouldn't shock people in Scandinavia, The Netherlands or Germany as much as it would in the US or the UK. |

About "War and Peace" you right some time it is really boring but there is grate wisdom in this book not all people in Russia understands all in this book.
Dostoevsky is a grate writer best of all his books I like "The Brothers Karamazov".
And have you ever read M. Bulgakov "Master and Margaretha"? I think this is one of the best books written by Bulgakov _________________
