It's not a matter of "letting you post".
It's a matter of following the same rules that govern every other member. The forum description clearly states:

You can do many things that are against the rules, which just makes a mess for a moderator or an administator to clean up.
Ten posts are a very small requirement. It is just meant to ensure that the benefits of the community are there for people that are here to contribute to the whole.
Not just serve their own selfish interests.

Many miss the point, but this is a high ranking Google site, so people think they'll be able to improve their Google Page Rank by spamming here. If only GoogleBot could detect spam
