Well, I consider Google Answers better because people won't post sh-- and 5 years old questions... just because idiots are often cheap.
If someone is paying for the answer, it means that this person really needs it and can't find it himself.
Seriously, how many times you send a link to Google-Search or already solved thread?
Money just makes it more serious!

You see, Google knows what he does. I'll try to demonstrate it:
you enter an electronics shop and you see an mp3 player for $49 and $19.. $19 has 512 mb, but it's so-called noname.. $49 is 256 mb, but it's a Sony. Which will you buy? If you're a cheap a--, and you're not *really* interested [Yahoo], you buy the noname, but if you want quality music, and you don't wanna buy a new player next week cuz the present one went off, you buy the Sony. Google Answers is a lot better than Yahoo! answers. The answers actually make sense in Google, and since you pay for it, your questions are actually answered. There are a lot of posts on Yahoo! when no one even knew the answer. And plus, a lot of people just post non-sense questions on Y! answers like this one:
| Yahoo! Answers wrote: |
How do I unblock myspace?
i am looking for proxies.....please tell me some
|
If you need a proxy server, search for it on Google. Even as low as Yahoo is, they might even find one. And you know what, there is even a proxy called UnBlockMySpace. Talk about not doing research before asking.
| Yahoo! Answers wrote: |
www.iamnewguy.com dont get caught or they will block that too..they already blocked it at my school... and dont tell to many ppl...dont get on it everyday...the school tracks what websites ur goin to...
|
That is the answer this member got, but you know something? If you pay for it, you are more likely to get longer posts, formed paragraphs, and punctuation. If you don't pay, you get simply internet lingo. |

Yes, I don't think Yahoo Answers is much better (and sometimes worse) than the average Usenet newsgroup.
In many cases, I'd try on of them, first, if I was looking for a free solution.
(Incidentally; SonicChao05, I fixed your BBCode. For quotes, the name of the quoted party needs to be in quotation marks, like quote="Yahoo Answers", in this case.) _________________

| Exactly. It is guarenteed Google Answers. Not so much with Yahoo, like all free services, it is a 25/75 (with 25 being getting an answer with Yahoo). I know a lot of people that used Google Answers, they all walked away happy. |
