I think the thing I want most for gmail is the ability to run a filter on e-mail already in the archive. It's annoying to have to page through e-mails applying labels. _________________ Eat More Lemmings |

I bet it has already been stated, but a better uploader. The GooglePages upload is fantastic, although it does needs a larger file size allowance. Often times I'll try and attach a file specifically for using the link that is created. With the current uploading process, its nearly impossible to send any file of significant size, and the file type restrictions is truly an annoyance. Another problem I have encountered is a bad dialogue response coming up when I upload an oversized file or a file with an unusable extension. I will get a "The Gmail Service cannot be reached" or something similar, and I will continually refresh my browser, thinking my internet connection was cut off.
Another idea that they could impliment is the way labels are used. I get tons of emails from colleges, and I assign a label to each email. The problem is, they clutter my inbox really badly. I would like for the messages to be moved out of my inbox and into a different folder automatically once the label is assigned (I have a feeling this might already be implimented, but nothing seemed to work when setting up the label).
Besides this, I like Gmail as it is right now. |

You could use a filter to automatically assign labels, and 'skip the inbox' for arriving mail. _________________

G'day,
The simplistic nature of google mail allows users
A. Not to see advertising
B. Easy to Use
C. Never delete another mail
I mean folders and other issues are decent, but it just takes a little to get used to or...?

I think the first part of your question is right. For people who've used Yahoo!, Hotmail or any other e-mail service, it might just take a little time to get used to the look and feel of Gmail.
And I suppose there isn't any "or". At least not for me. _________________

Folders are OK, but then you seem to place all other stuff (mails of
different natures) in there and the real ones get lost...Its kind of
hard to keep up with... _________________ alex tietge
