Is it possible to create a filter to indicate NOT to forward emails that contain an attachment OR to forward the emails but not the attachment that came with it? Thanks.

I don't know about the first part of your question, but I'm pretty sure that you can't forward only an e-mail, leaving back the attachment. No, that's impossible.
