No other steps are required, after doubleclicking on the G2S-File your download window will open after a few seconds. Itīs like your files are stored locally.
If you wish to stream your music or videos you can create G2S-Streams otherwise you should create G2S-Downloads. Both (Download + Stream) have the same extension (.g2s)
