Doesn't the Google desktop search just use files indexed by google?

I am not for sure, I don't have it anymore, and I can't remember... also, not sure on your question. Smile

I just figured with the desktop search ya take what google gives ya... I hope somoeone who knows more does reply because I would like to know the answer to this question as well.
