At the moment I use Hitslink which is great. I'm now trialling
Analytics but after sifting through the help files I can't workout how
to view the search terms people use to find my site and which search
engines etc. Does such a feature exist? Or is Analytics more of a 'get
what you pay for'...not much.
I'm trying not to be as pesimistic as others around here but I'm not terribly impressed so far.
I guess I'd just like to see more information about my visitors for SEO purposes.
The search engine reports are in the Marketing Optimisation section under Search Engine Marketing. Sounds like you're looking for the Overall Keyword Conversion report, which shows all the keywords people have used to find your site in the given date range. Clicking the [+] icon next to each keyword(s) shows how many visitors came from each search engine.

Google Analytics is an excellent tool. Especially, try the page overlay feature, you will fall in love with this. It shows exactly on what page, how the user flow is occuring. What better do you expect especially, when you pay nothing for it. You should be thankful to GOOGLE to let you use this amazing tool for free. _________________ http://www.eclassifieds4u.com - Canada's Free Classified Ads
