Hey,
I have embeded a bit of music onto the home page of one of my sites. When a viewer moves to another page the music stops.
Is there a way to keep the music going untill it has stoped playing, even if the viewer moves to another page?
Thanks in advance. |

My first advice would be: lose the music!
It is annoying when you are surfing and you have your favourite song playing that good part and then you land on some 'jingle' page Arg!
However you have to load the music clip in every page or use some other means to update just a part of the page.
I think old and not so good solution would be using frames (big no-no) New solution would be Flash or ?Ajax?. Ajax is pretty unknown to me so don't really know about its possibilities.

Seconded!
Embedded sound varies from annoying to excruciating.
You should give people a choice, or some will just bail as soon as it starts. _________________

I agree, ditch the sound. _________________ Michael-m.co.uk Forums|Language Wiki |
