Okay I have Windows XP and some how Windows 2000 NT.

My EX boyfriend like to act like he was a computer person.. well he wasn't.

I'm not either and I tried to delete Windows 2000 and I got some of it and now I'm sitting here with half of my memory used.

Any ideas?

Best thing to do now is reinstalling xp from the scratch.
If you have 2 hard drives, meaning physically 2 hard drives, doing this is easy.

Copy all your own stuff(pics, mp3s) to the other one.

If not you have to backup your files tio cd/dvd or to other media.

Put your xp install cd in and when the installation program asks you to select the partition where xp should be installed select the removing of the partition and continue that till you destroyed all the partitions. After that create partitions from 20 to 40 GB (20000 - 40000MB) depending your hard drive size.
Then fast format the one you want to install your xp.

After the xp is installed, you need to format the other partitions in order to use them. Clean install is always the best choice.
