I lost my memory stick with important mails and files on it But Google Desktop indexed the content of all the mails and files, so if i need the content of a lost document, i can find it in GD's cache and copy it back to word or whatever (and format it )

 

But my problem is now i need to reinstall Win XP on my pc, so GD will be deleded and all files/mails of the memory stick lost , if i didnt find a way to make a backup of GD cache (and whereever GD saves indexed mails) Is it possible to do a backup of GD? or to save this files manually?

i have found now the location of my index with the help of the tool "TweakGDS"  Anyone know if there is also the cache included ? If not i will try it out on another PC

edit: I tried it out on my brothers pc, it works have now access to all the indexed mails and files So if anyone want to make a backup of GD, simply install TweakGDS to locate the Index folder, and copy it
