hi
have 2 x 200gb Seagate SATA drives that have been installed and working fine for nearly a year.

My second one (E: drive) used just for storage suddenly didn't show up in win explorer after a reboot yesterday.

Ifi go to Disk Management the drive is there, it shows as a Dynamic Drive and my no1 Sata Drive with C: and D: partitions is showing as a Basic Drive right clicking on theE: drive and selecting 'open' will open it up in another window , and thenit shows at the bottom of all my drives list.
Although , clicking on 'My Computer' in the left pane of win Explorer, still doesnt show the drive in the right pane.

I have also noticed since this reboot that my second DVD drive doesnt show unless i pop a cd in in it

Why aren't these showing as usual?

I assume that you have checked the cabeling?

If you know a friend that has a SATA-disk, ask if you can test your computer with it. It could be MoBo problem too.
