i have just recently signed up for a gmail account...everything seemed ok for a few days till now. i try to login and the webpage keeps refreshing without actually loading up. i m using using firefox if that matters...i appreciate any help

I had that problem for a while, too.
 
Try the Basic HTML View.  http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html
 
That fixed it for me.

What version of Firefox are you using and what extensions do you have installed? I know that adblock will interfere with Gmail loading properly as one needs to fully whitelist Google in adblock.
