What are your views on the current state of transport in our cities across the globe?
What do you feel are the problems with the transport systems in place in our citys? Do you hate public transport? Do you think its great? Or do you love to use your car in a city? What about taxi's, do you feel they need to be cheaper or improved some way? What about tubes, buses and trams, do they really work? Do you like to ride your bike in a city or do you feel unsafe? Why feelings do you get when travelling with others on public transport?
Please feel free to Discuss. Thankyou.

This is a great topic you made, Iain. The state of public transport here in Mumbai, India isn't very encouraging.
We've got auto rickshaws, taxis, buses and local trains. The rickshaws are pretty useful, but they might take extra time to get somewhere.
The taxis are okay, too. They can get you here and there rather quickly, and I haven't got much against them.
Now comes the bad part. The buses here are somewhat terrible. They're all very congested, and they have rather hard seats.
I could go on and on. They're really slow, and a rickshaw could zip past them. The infrastructure isn't too good.
Local trains are even worse. The infrastructure's bad, again. That's the main thing.
And there's hardly any security in the locals and the train stations, even when millions of people use them everyday.
That's how there were eight (or more, I don't really remember) bomb blasts on Mumbai's train lines on 11th July, 2006.
