Hi, Can anyone explain why when I search a topic and get a list of sites, click on the link but instead of going to that site I'm taken to another search site and not to the link shown on the search results. Have I change something in my settings? Thank you for any help given |

Maybe the link in the search results is a page from another search engine?

Have not seen before.............can you give the example you encounter? Like which search engine you use and what is the search term and which links you clicks? Thanks

This is a example, I clicked on the link "p2pnet.net/story/8094 - 38k" and got the web page for Dealtime. How do I stop this? I have to cut and paste the link to my address bar to get to the site. Does anyone have the e-mail address of google so I can sort this problem out. |

I doubt very much if this has anything to do with Google. What browser are you using?
It could be a redirect on the page, or possibly ad/spyware.
If you haven't done so already, you should give your system a thorough scan for malware.

I have just installed Copernic and don't have the problem any more. Does any one have the Google E-mail address as I would still like there advice. |
