Since the past couple of weeks, GTalk doesnt notify of new scraps anymore. It was a great thing as we knew when people scrapped us.

What could be the reason?

Or only am i facing this problem :-/

It's not really a problem.Go to your settings page in Orkut(the link is just beside logout)and in that check the option notify me of a scrap.That's it you are done.

Sry I interpreted wrongly.I think u are talking about your mail received notification in gtalk.After opening ur gtalk on the top go to settings ->notifications n check the box under new e-mail notification.You will be notified of the email received in ur gmail which may ur scrap notification

Actually they had disabled it till this week, maybe they were doing some testing. Now its fine Smile
