I have just finished my directory script and started http://www.abydir.com/ free, nonreciprocal directory.
It has some new or very rare features for free directories:
- in-content links - link is included in your description, with an anchor text of your choice;
- individual link pages - an individual page is created for each approved web site;
- internal links - you can add 2 internal links to some important sections of your web site; they will be displayed on your individual link page;
- link partner section - helps you find link partners by letting others know your preferences or by searching for web sites accepting link partners.
No registration is required. You can update your site data using the update link that will be sent to your email.
Even if someone else has submitted your site, or you have lost your update link, you can verify that you are the site owner and recover your update link.
I hope this will be a useful resource for webmasters.

I submitted my two sites--hope I get in. Either way, thank you for providing this service. You do seem to offer more that the average directory. How do you manage to do it?

Hi Anita. This is my first directory. When I started to work at the script I only knew what I would like to get from a directory, but nothing about managing it.
For now it is easy because I don't have too many submissions. When I will have more, I hope that the advertisements will pay the work. |
