Hi,
We recently set up a great text based link on a page within ourMother site that points to the home page of our satalite site.The
refering Mother site page has a Google PRvalue of 6 and the satalite
site has a homepage PR value of 5. The linkhas been in place for over a
month and both sites are crawled regularlyby Google. The problem is,
when I check for a Google back link bytyping in:
link:www.mysatalitesite.com
The
link from the mother site does not show up. Google is notindexing that
link. The mother site link is a staight up HTML linkwithout javascript.
You can see it by clicking the above links. Theonly thing I am
wondering about is if the mother site's referingwebpage is dynamic.
However, I do know that the refering site's page iswell indexed in
google when a search is done for Teen Summer Camps,comes up on second
or third page. So We know that the page is indexablebut why not the
link to our satalite website?
Any thaughts or suggestions in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

So basically you are saying thta Google does not post all backlings
throught the link command, right? Thansk for taking the time. |

Well strangerrr is right.. Google will never disclose its data. Though these tools may not show all the links as well... bottom line.. You cannot get complete information about backlinks of your site.

yes , Google updates the BL by batch ,so you can find your BL next time they do the update .
