Hello - unable to even get the gmail login page right now; it just times out.
Also, I see that some others had some server errors. I experienced those same errors around the same time as those users - not likely a local problem; could be a 504 type error.
(BTW, disappointed with 'must be the user's fault/computer' type responses from the moderators - hope that google isn't turning into a big microsofty!)

yea well gmail does have some times when there server are overloaded and they just put you in a que, and if you do not get through in a certain amount of tiem they cut you out and give you an error.
That happends around 6 or 7 pm when most people get on to check there email, lol.

Hey hathead, it could be worse if you were like me and didnt have a gmail account. How do you think i sleep at night knowing that i dont have one?  Its a nightmare. lol Just kidding...... I am cool.

Thanks for the concideration HatHead. All i can do is just hang out and wait for them to come again. I will keep up and give my 2.49 cents worth of posts here at googlecommunity. I really like this website and will continue to use it.
