michael crichton
just going by the two books you mentioned, cause he wrote those.
Anyway, i've read him, i love him, he's pretty good, even if he doesnt know how to write characters too well, i dont mind, cause the story is where i want it, not the characters.
His best book in my opinion is State of Fear, the one about the weather terrorists people.
Jurassic park was a classic, sphere, just as boring as the movie, and just as long.
Congo....eh, the lost world, a million times better then the movie, Prey, amazing. Timeline, amazing, the movie sucked.
