I seldom utilize Shareaza and Kazaa Lite K++. I heard that IRC servers are a popular medium of sharing music files in India. I have listened to some Hindi and Bengali songs myself, they're pretty good and melodious, though I'll probably never be able to sing them with a proper accent and voice tone. _________________ Darren loves Tokkolo who has e-feelings for Geekerati. |

IRC is not famous in india. Its more famous in US for downloading all kinds of stuff. The no. of poeple i see on those channels is much more than indian channels.
It will be cool to hear hindi songs from a non-indian . I never hear bengali songs as i dont bengali...
The only thing i know in bengali is "hami tumhare balo mashi" means I LOVE YOU !!
By the way do u all know more than 518 languages are speaken in india _________________ Google community ROCKS |

I use limewire loads and have found that its brill, no spyware, adware or any viruses etc, if a download is corrupted cos someone isnt reliable then it tells you there is only one downside and that is very barable it just has a nagger that pops up when you start it asking you to download pro but you can just click later and it wont ask you again till the next time you start it up other than that the downloads are incredibly fast, and reliable, and its just much, much better than kazaa which i used to love so i highly reccomend it _________________ Do you fear the Incredi-gingerbread-man?!?!?! |

Well, I know a friend who used limewire, it attacked their network with trojans, etc. I can just say that stuck_fugu is right.

The probability is that he got these so called trojans from downloads through limewire which can be avoided by using safe security. Limewire does not contain trojans, thats BS, ok. For him / her to have downloaded a trojan, I also suspect that your friend was searching for something either adult or illegal in order to download a trojan.
The biggest risk with limewire or any p2p network is anti piracy groups and the like seeing what you sharing, however that can be solved by looking into one of 2 programs called peerguardian and protowall |

| limewire is all right. I prefer using bt for my downloads though. p2p is getting cracked down here in the US, and I've gotten kind of paranoid. |
