I work on a linux based machine (Kubuntu) and would like to use Gtalk. I already use PSI as it has ssl and proxy available.
What I want to do is not use the standard port but use 443 for example. The reason is that I am behind SurfControl which blocks everything other that 443 and one other port. I have tried the other port but with no success.
Please can someone help me??? Does Gtalk have aplace to specify which port to use?
And is there a Linux version?
I am pretty sure there is not a way to specify a port for gTalk yet... and no, there is no linux port yet... however, you can run winex, or crossover, i recoment crossover... give it a shot, then post information on crossover's website as to compatability, and please post back here^_^ your information would be greatly appreciated. _________________ ______________________
