A man walks down a street - it is no ordinary man, but a man who has everything made of gold. He carries on walking and sees 3 tramps sitting on the side of the road. The first tramp says "Please can you give me some change?" and the man replies, "Sure" and gives him some golden coins. The second tramp says "I need some money to get some food" and the man replies "sure" and gives him some golden coind. The third tramp says "I'm out of money - could you give me a bit?" and the man replies "sure" and gives him some golden coins.
The man, feeling pleased with himself, goes home. He puts his golden key in the golden door, and takes off his golden shoes and goes up the golden stairs when somebody knocks on the golden door. He walks down the golden stairs and opens the golden door and he sees the three tramps. The first tramp says "Please can I stay at your house tonight?" and the man replies "Sure" and givees him a golden bed in a golden bedroom. The second tramp says "I lost my blanket - can I sleep here?" and the man replies "Sure" and gives him a golden room with a golden bed. The third tramp says "Can I stay here tonight - I have nowhere else to go?" and the man says "sure", and goes up the golden stairs and opens the golden door and goes into a golden bed.
The man wakes up to find the three tramps in his golden kitchen sitting on golden chairs with golden bowls and golden spoons. The man knows what they are going to ask, so he says "Right! Do you want museli or frosties?". The first tramp says, "Museli please" and gets a bowl of golden museli. The second tramp says "Frosties please" and gets a bowl of golden frosties. The third tramp says, "Museli please" and gets a bowl of golden museli. The lesson to be learnt is 2 out of 3 people prefer museli to frosties. |

If there was a really good emoticon for "Blank Stare", I'd be using it right about now.
A looong way to go, for very little. _________________

It sounded more like just an abnormal story to me. _________________

It's one of those jokes where the story goes on and on and on and on and gives you the expectation of a punchline coming, but it doesn't really comes and instead gives you a silly ending.
I think it's sorta good. _________________ Hello? Is this microphone on? Testing testing one two three...

I think it's absurdism. That's what I learned from watching too much David Letterman. _________________ Hello? Is this microphone on? Testing testing one two three...

I need to ask a question - does anyone here think that what oli888 wrote is good (as a joke and not anything else)?
I think it's not. So my answer is "no". _________________
