I saw Eric's post and was inspired. His idea was cool, but it was plain. Why not spice it up a bit by changing it from a number to a day. So its like the lottery, but not as often and you have more than a day.
So, like Eric's, donate 100GC$ to me, and I'll edit this post to show you here:

I've added myself first.
Don't worry about phishing or w/e because all the mods can know about this and they can change my/your GC$ in case I forget or something, or change this post themselves. Oooo, the power.
Anyway, this ends next Friday, and whoever wins gets the whole jackpot. You can do this more than once, just indicate in your post how many times you are "buying a ticket" and it'll be posted next to your name.
I guess I'll just point to the screen while pressing up and down randomly, but I could just do a random number generator too. I'll do that, and since I'm learning java, here's the code:

For every ticket bought, numPlayers is incremented, so if "GCMemberLottery" bought the first 3 tickets, the players would be, for the program/me:
1.Fahhem
2.GCMemberLottery
3.GCMemberLottery
4.GCMemberLottery
So you'd have a REALLY good chance if only you played to steal 100GC$ from me. Thats a 25% turnaround. There aren't many places you can get better than 7% in the real world.
Procedures:
1)Post number of tickets you'll buy.
2)Donate 100*numTickets
3)Watch post on 11/4/05
4)Optional: Collect winnings 
Good luck to you all, you'll have a numTickets out of numPlayers chance of winning!
Sorry if you don't understand the code up there, BASIC would have made it easier to read.

Simple, by "buying himself" 2 tickets, he increases the jackpot by GC$200. |

OK, I ran my program, and it came up with 9.
number 9 is MONDINE.
Sorry Randy, I ran the program 5 more times and you won every other time.
