Hi,

maybe you´ll have the answer:

I moved to a new built house, I can´t find with google earth (the only thing I can see is grassland). Neighbours can be seen.

Do you have any idea about the "update-period" of google earth pictures/maps???

It's when the company that took the pictures updates them in which you will have to ask them as it can vary between each company (different companies, different budgets, different updates times, etc.).
