I have read the entire Chronicles of Narnia, and am now working on the science fiction series.  I am reading "out of the silent planet".  It seems really good.

I was really impressed by the movie for the lion the witch and the wardrobe.  I also have the original BBC movies.

I haven't read the books yet, but I plan to. But I've seen the movie.
And I was, as you put it, impressed by it. The special effects are brilliant.
And by the way, what did you mean by the original BBC movies? Did BBC make documentaries or movies on Narnia or something?

The BBC released a 3 disk set with the original 5 books turned into movies. It's pretty good. It was from around 1990 and it's kinda low budget, but It's worth a watch.

Amazon has it for sale:

I would like to see a movie with the stories that were written after thos 5. "The Magicians Nephew" is the into to the whole world of Narnia. it's one of my favorites...
