| This is my first time at this forum, and I was just wondering about how the gc$ work. I assume its the length of the post, because a computer wouldn't beable to determine the usefulness of a post. Also, if gmail opens its doors to the public on the 4th, does that mean that anyone can register, or are they just gonna give out more invites? Thanks for any responses. |

from what i heard anyone can register on the 4th...and this comes from a beta tester from gmail itself. The GC$ if i can correctly guess...determines the amount to give you by the length and certain words in it. ??other than that i have no idea.

At this time, it's a secret formula, much like PageRank  . Sometimes I tweak it when I see things out of balance, so I'd rather not disclose right now.
If Gmail goes public, I would assume that means anyone can register, like Hotmail and Yahoo Mail. |

max $ of GC$ i have gotten so far is 75. lol i think thats the max limit..lowest i have gotten was 19.5

well im gonna work my way up to 10000 GC$ so i can be on top of the world...lol. i think there should be a word combo that will give like 200GC$. This is fun...kinda like...grr cant remember what i was on before that did something similar to this...

I don't think it would be very fun for Elliot who has to pay for all of the domain names which would be bought as a result of people typing a post saying "Google Community is cool" 500 times then purchasing the said domain prior to his ability to remove the post.

Opss I write thing not think, sorry about that, it’s because I’ve lived in Spain for nine years and sometimes I get mixed up with English. It's hard knowing to languages.
Anyway yes I do agree that you should work for things, the same goes to working the harder you work the more you get promoted and the same thing happens here the more you post and the better quality it is the more GC$ you earn and the higher up in rank you go.
So work does pay.
