Stumble Upon is very interesting to say the least. It basically acts like a toolbar that'll appear at the top of your window. After you choose from subjects from a comprehensive list (for example, multimedia, guitars, whatever your interested in), Stumble Upon will automatically search for any interesting websites that have something to do with the subject you chose.
It's really hard to explain, but with this program, you basically "Stumble Upon" different sites. It's interesting because half the time you've never even heard the the sites that it picks up, and is a nice cure for boredom.

I stumbled on quite a few interesting sites as well using this service. Mondine, I'm just like you. Have yet to reinstall after a couple of updates, hehe.
