hello,
yesterday I installed the german version 2 of Google desktop. I have two Accounts on my Computer :
Root (Admin)
lionstarr (Normal user)
I normally use the Root acc only to install things so I installed Google Desktop with it. Now in the Root acc I clicked on "-" to minimize Google Desktop after I had made the preferences. Now I go on my acc lionstarr and started Google Desktop and had to do the preferences again. fter a while I installed the Plugin "Timer.msi" first with lionstarr - that failed. So I installed with root. But then I couldn't open (maximize) Google Desktop in Root and I only see a Google search field in the taskbar. I could click on it, and there was a point "Change to Sidebar" but nothing happened, when I clicked on to it. If I clicked on the link"Preferences" in the Root account,
It said "You have come with a wrong bookmark here - Google Desktop". My problem : The plugin must be instaled, but I cannot open it with my lionstarr acc so it ( I think ) has t e opened with Root first. Any Idea what to do?

EDIT: Sorry for doube post! The forum was so slow, I just went away to come back another time.
I just forgot to close Google Desktop in the other account
But now I have the next Problem "How do I install plugns, that need admin rights for a normal user?
