I personally think that monitors are over rated...

They are just a ploy by the likes of Samsung, Sony, NEC, Philips just to make a quick buck. When people realize that these are just needless peices of junk, the world will be a better place, and the eyeballs of america will be able to see again!!!

Laughing Type blind! Very Happy

P.S. Does a spray-can pop out the top of monitors after about a year to spray them yellow, so you think you should buy a new monitor because the one you have looks old?

I use/have:
  • monitor (useful, if annoying at times)
  • keyboard
  • speakers
  • microphone
  • scanner
  • printer (often out of expensive ink, and unused)
  • joystick and various game-controllers (sitting in a drawer after I didn't bother reconnecting them after last move.)

[Edit: D'oh. I forgot the mouse. In my defense, it was hiding under some food wrappers at the time. And also a router and cable modem. Do they count?]

Ok, I suppose that I will answer this truthfully:

Monitor(obviously)
Mouse(obviously)
Keyboard(obviously)
Speakers
Headphones
Microphone
Printer, which also is always out of expensive ink
Bluetooh Dongle
Palm Sync
Mobile Phone Sync
GPS Sync
TV in/out

I think that just about covers it.

I use the following peripherals on my computer -

  • Monitor.
  • Mouse.
  • Keyboard.
  • Speakers.
  • Sub-Woofer with Radio Connectivity.
  • Microphone.
  • Webcam (on-demand).

Nothing else. I don't need anything else. A printer is needed on some occasions, but my father's got a printer at his office. And so I just e-mail him the thing to be printed.

You seem to be having some problems with your BBCode, today. You forgot to turn your list off ([/list]).
I suppose this is the price to be paid when you are a mainstay of 37 forums.

That's the result of his doctor's orders to cut down his forums by half (from 74), due to exessively-bleeding fingers. It's not a pretty sight.

How did you manage to write the "T" if it's missing from the keyboard?

I just attempted to install a microphone, but it doesn't seem to have worked Crying or Very sad

Did you plug it in??? Most mics don't need "installed". Just plugged into the right jack.
